Anwar has ₹34 in 50paise and 25paise. If the number of 25paise coin be twice the number of 50paise coin.How many coins of each kind does he have?

let no. of 25 paise coin be X
and no. of 50 paise coin be y
according to question,
X=2y....,........1st equation
now, total money=34 rupees
so, X/4 + y/2 =34
or it can be written as X+2y=136..........2nd equation
on using 1st in 2nd
4y=136
y=34 and X=68
