FROM RIGHT

5 and 15 will be series so the effective resistance is 20. 20 AND 20 will be parallel so effective resistance is 10. 10 and 6 will be series so effective resistance is 16. 16 and 48 will be parallel so effective resistance is 12.


FROM LEFT

10 and 8 will be series so effective resistance is 18. 18 and 9 are parallel so effective resistance is 6


now 14, 6, 12 are in series so effective resistance is 14+6+12=32
