Take a good shelter in a strong house.
Keep some food and water enough for a day or two. 
Hide all your goods and vehicles properly and safely.
Protect yourself if it is too cold and if it is raining heavily. 
Keep yourself warm. Keep in touch with near and dear by phone or other means.
Do not go near windows. Close all windows. Protect glass windows from breaking.
