=> 6 { x + ( 1/2 ) = -1
=> 6x + 6 ( 1/2 ) = -1
=> 6x + 3 = -1
=> 6x = -1 - 3
=> 6x = -4
=> x = -4/6
=> x = -2/3.
The required answer is ( -2/3 ).
