9 P.M.
Dear Diary,
Today has been one of the best days ever!!!
I take part in many competitions in school, but never win a prize. All that changed today. When the school started, it was like any other day. We had an inter-house quiz competition based on sports . I had been chosen to represent my house because of my keen interest in sports activities, matches and sports stars. The quiz started and to my pleasant surprise I knew the answers to almost all the questions. My score increased steadily and soon rocketed past all the other scores! I bagged the first prize and won family tickets to the IPL final!
I was overjoyed as all my friends congratulated me. At home, my parents felt proud of my achievement. Finally, my interest in sports activities had paid off. My excitement might not let me sleep tonight.
