HELLO MATE !

speed speed is a scalar quantity while velocity is a vector quantity.

speed do not have a direction but velocity have a direction.....

The equation for speed is simple: distance divided by time......

the derivative of the position with respect to time gives the change in position (in metres) divided by the change in time (in seconds), velocity is measured in metres per second (m/s).
