The advantages of globe is that it is the smaller representation of our world. It's helps us to read the various location, vegetation, etc. There are disadvantages of globe as its not handy,we can not carry it all times,this had led maps to replace the globes. Also in the globe the exact representation of the points or the place is not possible! The actual curve of the earth can't be followed in a globe,which makes the latitudinal and longitudinal lines not exactly accurate. Hope this was useful to you..
