Astronauts wear specially designed clothes

  • This is because, in space there isn't any oxygen for them to breathe.
  • Space is just vaccum (meaning nothing is present there), hence without gravity it would be difficult for them to move.
  • To provide them with oxygen and to support their movement astronauts wear specially designed clothes called space suits.

As mountaineers climb higher altitudes there is a possibility for nasal bleeding.

  • Nasal bleeding refers to nose bleeding
  • Mountaineers experience this due to the pressure difference.
  • Atmosphere exerts a pressure on us known as atmospheric pressure.
  • Our body does not get crushed by this pressure, as it exerts a pressure too
  • As we move higher the pressure exerted by the atmosphere decreases. (as the gases with less mass are present there, hence the pressure exerted by them is lesser)
  • When we move higher, the atmospheric pressure decreases but the pressure exerted by our body is the same. Hence this pressure difference can cause nasal bleeding

Rubber attachers

  • Rubber attachers work on pressure
  • Pressure is the force acting on a unit area
  • When the rubber attachers is stuck to the ground, the air inside the rubber attachers would have already escaped.
  • Hence there is more pressure outside the rubber attacher than inside it.
  • The atmospheric pressure outside the rubber attacher pushes the object more to the surface making it stick very strongly to it.

Hope it helps

have a great day
