Radius = 6cm

AB = BC = CD

Let the centre point of the circle be O.

AO = OD = 6cm

AB = BC

AB + 1/2 BC = radius = 6cm

AB + 1/2 AB = 6cm

3/2 ( AB ) = 6cm

AB = 6*2 / 3 cm

AB = 4 cm

Since, AB = BC = CD = 4cm

So,

For Perimeter of shaded region ,

AB as a diameter.

So, radius = 1/ 2 AB = 1 /2 ( 4 ) = 2 cm

Circumference of Diameter AB, C1 = pi r = 3.14 × 2 = 6.28 cm

Circumference of diameter AD, C2 = pi r = 3.14 *6

= 18.84 cm

Circumference of Diameter BD, C3 = pi r = 3.14 * 4 = 12.56 cm

Adding all Circumferences = C1 + C2 + C3 = 6.28 + 18.84 + 12.56 = 37.68 cm

For Area of the shaded region,

Area of semicircle with diameter AB, A1 = 1/2 pi r^2

= 1 / 2 * 3.14 * 2 *2 = 6.28 cm^2

AREA of semicircle with diameter AD, A2= 1/2 pi r^2

= 1 / 2 *3.14 * 6 *6 = 56.52 cm^2

AREA of semicircle with diameter BD, A3 = 1 / 2 pi r^2

= 1 / 2 * 3.14 * 4 *4 = 24. 12 cm^2

Area of shaded region = A1 + ( A2 - A3 )

= 6.28 + 56.52 - 24.12

= 6.28 + 32. 40

= 38. 68 cm^2
