Hi there !

Any line with an undefined slope is parallel to the \bold {y - axis} .

As it is given that, it is an undefined slope, therefore it is clear that it is vertical line.

Therefore, it is parallel to the y - axis and also passing through all the points with same x - coordinate in the plane.

Any line with an undefined slope is parallel to the y - axis .

The x coordinates = Perpendicular distance from y axis.

The y coordinates = Perpendicular distance from x axis.

Equation of x axis = y = 0

Equation of y axis = x = 0 .
