Answer :-

Roots of the equation 9x² - 15x + 6 = 0 are 1 or 2/3.

Step-by-step explanation :-

Given :-

9x² - 15x + 6 = 0

To find :-

Roots of the given equation.

Solution :-

9x² - 15x + 6 = 0

Divide the equation by 3 :

3x² - 5x + 2 = 0

Using Sridharacharya formula :

x = (-b±√b²-4ac)/(2a)

So we get :

a = 3

b = -5

c = 2

On substituting :

x = (-b±√b²-4ac)/(2a)

x = (5±√(-5)²-(4×3×2)/2(3)

x = (5±√25-24)/6

x = (5+1)/6 or (5-1/)6

x = 6/6 or 4/6

∴ x = 1 or 2/3
