1. As we know 2m, 2m + 1 and 2m - 1 form a Pythagorean triplet for any number. Therefore the triplets are 6,8 and 10.

2. 5(x-2) + 4(x-3) + 5(x-4)

= 5x -10 +4x -12 + 5x -20

= 14x - 42

3. (7x-2y)²

= (7x)² + (2y)² -2*7x*2y

= 49x² + 4y² - 28xy

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3) one of a pythagorean triplet is 3,4,5

you can make another triplet by multiplying same number in all the three digits . In the above case lets multiply it by 2 so we get,

6,8,10 which is the answer for the first one

4) lets multiply and open the brackets,

we get,

5x-10+4x-12+5x-20

simplifying we get,

14x-42=0 ----- (you can finish the problem here or you can further simplify it as follows)

14(x-3)=0

x-3=0

x=3

5) as it is in the form of (a-b)^2

we can simplify it as :

49x^{2} +4y^{2} -2*7x*2y

49x^{2} +4y^{2} -28xy
