 \bf 2t - 5 = 3

Transposing 5 from LHS to RHS, changing its sign,

 \bf 2t = 3 + 5

On simplifying,

 \bf 2t = 8

Transposing 2 from LHS to RHS, changing its sign,

 \bf t =  \dfrac{8}{2}

Dividing 8 by 2,

 \bf t = 4.

So, the value of t is 4.

Verification :-

To check our answer, we just have to put 4 (the value of x) in place of x and check whether LHS = RHS.

Putting x, we get :-

 \bf 2 \times 4 - 5 = 3

 \bf 8 - 5 = 3

 \bf 3 = 3.

Since LHS = RHS,

Hence verified! ✔️✔️
