Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Question :-

If the sum and product of the zero of the polynomial ax²-5x +c is equal to 10 each find the value of 'a' and 'c'.

Given :-

Polynomial = ax²-5x +c

sum of zeros = 10

product of zeros = 10

To Find :-

Values of a and c.

Solution :-

Sum of zeroes = -b/a

⇒ -(-5)/a = 10

⇒ 5/a = 10

a = 1/2

Product of zeroes = c/a

⇒ c/a = 10

⇒ c/1/2 = 10

c = 5

Hence, the values of a and c are 1/2 and 5.
