Any One ? Who is Nyc in Kernel Codeing..

My Problem:- I want to disable thermal throttling.

I Found some solution but That are almost not working.

I checked root/sys/bin/thermal-data.

but I can't Change the values of (thermal-data)

Any one Can.. help Then Plz.. Recommended some ways...

You can't turn off thermal throttling in most cases. What you can do is to increase your fan speed and improve the cooling. If you don't do some CPU intensive tasks try if you can underclock the CPU. Most new notebooks doesn't allow this. Another way to reduce the thermals is to change the thermal paste. It's hard to change the thermal paste. On alien ware laptops changing the thermals helps reducing thermals.

Yes it is possible to disable thermal throttling on very few notebooks. But many won't allow it.

This feature is not built into the CPU. It is done by your motherboard and bios.
