1) geographical features:- LADAKH is a desert in the mountains in the Eastern part of Jammu and Kashmir. very little agriculture is possible here since this region does not receive any rain is covered in snow for a larger part of the year.

2) historical features:- LADAKH was considered a good trade routes as it had many pasess through which caravan travelled to what is today called Tibet .
