Everything in math has been proved. I started to do “proofs” in geometry, but I am not sure about your case. However, when we do proofs, we have a given, or what is stated to be true and we know for a fact, and we use what is given and the postulates, theorems, definitions, etc., to prove what the proof is asking for us to prove. When dealing with proofs, we have to go step by step, and you can’t skip anything (trust me, it gets tedious), but it gives us a better understanding on WHY and HOW things happen.
