Given :-

Area of triangle = 840 cm²

a = 40 cm , b = 58 cm

Explanation :-

height (c) = √(Hypotenuse)² - (Base)²

= √(58)² - (40)²

= √3364 - 1600

= √1764

= 42 cm

For Confirmation :-

Here

Area of triangle = 1/2 × Base × height

= 1/2 × 40 × 42

= 20 × 42

= 840 cm²

So , the 3rd side of this triangle is 42 cm .
