what is the function of connective tissue

general function
it binds and forms a packaging or shock absorber action or brings a connection between various organs by physical or chemical means or transport of substances from one organ to another (eg as in blood )
other important functions specifically

Cartilage provides strong support and connection for our skeletal framework. And the function of bones is to support and protect soft tissues and organs in our body.

connective tissue functions are as follows

1- it helps in binding ,supporting and Packaging of different organs of body .

2- it also helps in body defence, fat storage and transport of materials .
