P orbital has 3 sub shells namely px py and pz. P orbital can accommodate a maximum of six electron 2 in each shell. But according to hunds rule electron pairing will occur only when sub shell has a electron. Thus px gets 1 py gets 1 oz gets one and then depending upon atomic no. The next electrons are filled .as atomic no. Of Oxygen is 8 4 electrons are filled by s orbital next 4 by p orbitals in accordance of hunds rule.
