A shopkeeper solds his Object for RS.3000 at a loss of rs.500 calculate the Cost price?

your ans
consider cost price as'x'
sold object at Rs3000
therefore this is our selling price
he gained loss of 500
therefore loss=Cost price- selling price
500= x-3000
x = -3000-500
x=3500
there fore the cost price is Rs 3500
