Answer:

given the train just started so its initial velocity is zero

u = 0 m/s , v = 40 km/h = 40×5/18 = 100/9m/s , t = 10 × 60 = 600sec

by first equation of motion ,

v = u + at

where v is final velocity , u is initial velocity , t is time , a is acceleration

100/9 = 0 + a (600)

=> a = 0.018m/s^2

Answer:

Given

---------

u=0 m/s

v=40×5/18=100/9 m/s

t= 600 s

a=?

Solution

------------

v=u + at ( I equation of motion)

100/9=0+ a×600

100/9=600a

=>1/9=6a

=>a=1/54 m/s^2

Hence, the acceleration is 1/54 m/s^2.
