average acceleration= ∆velocity/ time taken
u= 20
v= 10
t = .5
acceleration = 20-(-10)/0.5
=60m/s^2
the direction of acceleration is to be taken in account.
when it rebounds the direction is opposite so it will be taken negative.

hope it helps
