anybody tell a story on strange footprint

Today I write story! My friend give to me first paragraph, so I write story. I know my story is not fun and creative so I'm ashamed. But I think it help me to use right tense! I need to use pas tense, right?
I was walking in the woods when suddenly I saw something on the path ahead. There were millions of tiny footprints coming out of the bushes, crossing the path and disappearing into the bushes on the other side. I had some free time so I decided to follow the foot prints...
The strange footprints were clearly printed in the sand. In the sand, there was a footprint which was assumed to belong to a girl. I down on the ground to examine footprints. I was so shocked that I couldn't move even a step. The reason why I measured the shoe against the footprints, but it was same. I really nervous but I followed the footprints with noiseless steps.
After a few minutes, There were no footprints in the sand anymore. However I came to the fork of a road. "Hey, Haneul! Let's play with us now! " My friends were shouted in the left road. Another road that is right road, I wears a police uniform and proud of myself. I found myself at a crossroads in my life when I saw these road. Of course, I wanted to go to left road for play with my friends but my dream is really important to me. Shortly before dusk I reached a fork and took the right road.
"Haneul!! Wake up!! You need to go to school now!" When I went to right road only little step, suddenly my mom shouted my name. So the voice of my mother awakened me. After that I realized footprints and crossroads were dream. However, I realized my dream again through this dream.
