anybody who knows percentage lesson of maths plz solve this fast because I am trying this but I am not getting the answer 500

English = 30% (Given)

G.K = 35% (Given)

Failed Both = 27% (Given)

STEP 1: Find the percentage of candidates that failed at least one subject:

Passed only one = 30 + 35 - 27 = 38%

STEP 2: Find the percentage of candidates that passed both subjects:

Passed in both = 100 - 38 = 62%

STEP 2: Form equation:

Passed both = 65%

Passed both = 310 candidates

62% = 310

.........................................................................................................................

STEP 3: Find total candidates

62% = 310

1% = 310 ÷ 62 = 5

100% = 5 x 100 = 500 candidates

........................................................................................................................

Answer:500 candidates turned up for the exam
