Anyone can answer my question.

A certain sum of money doubles itself in 6 years. In how many years will it be three times at the rate of simple interest?

⇒ 100x = 6Rx

⇒ 2 = RT/100

⇒ 2 = [(100/6)* T/[100]

⇒ 2 = T/6

⇒ T = 12 years.


Therefore, Time = 12 years.
