Anyone can answer my question that . Let first introduce my self
I am a student of st francis academy i want to know because I dont know this I learn in class 7(13/1/2020):
a labourer is engaged for 20 days on the condition that he will receive
Rs 280 for each day he works and will be fined Rs 60 for each day he is absent . If he receives Rs 2540
in all for how many days he remains absent

Hey!! No of days he worked = x
No. of days he didn't work = 20 - x
According to question,
Rs.280(x) - Rs.60(20 - x) = Rs 2540
x = 11
No of days he worked = 11
No of days he was absent = 20-11=9
