PLEASE MARK ME AS BRAINLIST
Explanation: Plassey (Bengali : Polashi) is the place where the BATTLE OF PLASSEY was fought in 1757 between Siraj-ud-Daulah and his troops and the British East India Company led by Lord Clive. It is believed by many historians that this battle revolutionized the course of Indian history and was a start of the torturous 190 (precisely) year rule of the British Raj . Unfortunately the war was won by the British due to Mir Jafar"s betrayal of the Bengal Sultan (Siraj-ud-Daulah).
Today it is a humble and modest village in the district of Nadia, West Bengal.
P.S. Hope this answer helps. If u like it please don't mark me brainliest. (Just Joking XD)
