Length of hypotenuse =13\ cm.

Length of another side =5\ cm.

Then, length of third side,

=\sqrt{13^2-5^2}

=\sqrt{169-25}

=\sqrt{144}

=12\ cm

The sides other than hypotenuse are perpendicular to each other.

Hence area of the triangle is,

\longrightarrow A=\dfrac{1}{2}\times5\times12

\longrightarrow\underline{\underline{A=30\ cm^2}}

Hence the area is 30 cm².
