matter are the things which occupy space. .
and elements are the smaller part of matter..
a pure is that in which the elements are present in fixed ratio
but in mixture there is not any fixed ratio and compose of many substance

element is a substance made up of single kind of atom.
pure substance have one kind of atom whereas mixture is a mix of elements
