Answer:

In Merchant of Venice Act 2 scene 1,

The prince of Morocco tries to earn Portia's hand in marriage. He Tells her not to judge him because of the colour of his skin and explains how his love is superior/equal(Not sure what exactly he meant) to that of the fair people.

Portia replies that she doesn't have the freedom to choose a husband for herself and will have to accept whoever wins the casket even if she doesn't like the person.

The prince of Morocco then asks Portia to lead him to the caskets so he can try his fortune. He tells him about all his achievements and how all of them are useless here since it all depends on luck right now.

Portia warns him that if he fails to choose the right casket then he shall never propose her to marriage and tells him to go to the church in order to take the oath and to come after dinner.

The prince of Morocco says that the choice of Casket will either make him the happiest or the most miserable man on the earth.
