Let total money be ₹ x

According to question,

Wife gets --> ₹x/3 {remaining- 2x/3}

Son gets--> ₹ [(1/4)*(2x/3)]

                 = ₹ x/6      {remaining- x/2}

Daughter gets --> ₹ [(2/5)*(x/2)]

                  = ₹ x/5

Now,

          x - [x/3 + x/6 + x/5] = 3000

       ⇒ x - [7x/10] = 3000

       ⇒ 3x/10 = 3000

       ⇒ x = ₹10000
