Heya!☜☆☞⌐╦╦═─
As the velocity is the change in position over the change in time. In physics, the change in position gives you the displacement, it may be positive or negative. Thus, in order to find a velocity of an object you must do the differentiation to the displacement function with respect to times.
Hope it helps☜☆☞⌐╦╦═─

accelaration is double differensiation and velocity is single differensiation for displacement

PriyanshuKshatriya: is it correct
ZiaAzhar89: yes it is correct
