Since, a,b,c,d,e,f are in AP.Let us consider the common difference as 'x'.
Let a = x.
⇒ b = x + d
⇒ c = x + 2d
⇒ d = x + 3d
⇒ e = x + 4d
⇒ f = x + 5d.
Given:
⇒ e - c
⇒ x + 4d - (x + 2d)
⇒ 4d - 2d
⇒ 2d.
Therefore, e - c = 2d.
Hope this helps!

Given,
a, b, c, d, e ,f are in AP.
If the common difference between terms is x
Then,
b -a = c - b = d - c = e - d = f - e = x
∴ d - c = e -d
d + d = e - c
e - c = 2d
