Hey Buddy.
Rutherford Model of atom is just like a solar system. But instead of sun, there is protons and neutrons and instead of planets there are electrons . For the configuration of electrons in orbital, there is a system:-
2,8,16,32and so on. and in the last orbit there is no more electrons than 8.
For more , watch out image.

dear ,
Rutherford' s experiment is easily you memorise when you understand , so please understand their concept .
i gave some theory which gave by Rutherford .

when Rutherford passed energetic alpha particles through a very thin gold foil .
then..
1)most of alpha particles passed undeflected concluding that most of the space of atom are empty .

2) the rest of alpha particles were deflected by small angles , and a very few alpha particles retraced the path (180°) this conclude that the positive charge and whole mass of atom is concentrated in small space is called is nucleus.
3)electron move in circular path called orbit, and electrons and nucleus are held by electrostatic force of attraction

abhinav18802: bro, he had asked the structure of atom not alpha scattering
