1. in what way ishwaran is an asset to mahendra?

ANS -ishwaran cooked for mahendra , washed his clothes,chatted with him all night. he had an amazing ability to produce vegetable and food ingredients out of nowhere.he would narrate various stories on varied subjects. he would miraclously cook delicious food within an hour

2.how does ishwaran describe the uprooted tree on the highway/ what effect does he want to create in his listeners?

ishwaran description of the uprooted tree is highly melodramatic. he had read many thrilling stories and knew the importance of creating suspense filled atmosphere while narrating. he describes the road was deserted . i was all alone suddenly i spotted omething.it looked like a bushy besat and then he suprises his listeners by revealing the monster as only an uprooted tree

3.how does he narrate the story of a tusker ? does it appear to be plausible?

he narrated the story of  tusker by giving it a prolouge which he called elephant . he told at that time he was studying in the junior class and suddenly a elephant entered into his school . all the teachers and students became so afraid that they climbed up to the terrace of the building then he show -ed some courage and grabbed the stick of a teacher and came to  the elephant and he struck the toe nail of the elephant and it fell down on the ground . he used the japanese art ju jistu . this doesnot appear to be plausible

4 why does the author say that ishwaran seemed to more than makeup for a tv in mahendra living quarters?

ishwaran was a expert storyteller, he was having great company with mahendra, he would chat with mahendra after he comes from his work in the evening, he would narrate varios stories to mahendra on varied subjects . thus having ishwaran around he never felt bored and  the necessity of having  tv for entertainment

5.mahendra calls gosts or spirits a figment of the imagination . what happens to him on a full moon night?

mahendra was  a rationalist . he says ghosts and spirits are fiagments of our imgination . he looked the dark shadow of a woman on a full moon night. he sees a woman carrying a bundle in her both arms . at this horrible scene mahendra began to shiver with fear.
