BrunoJai: answer is 14:11 bro
BrunoJai: since perimeter of circle=perimeter of square
BrunoJai: i.e 2 pie r = 4 s
villain4874: no bro the given answer is 7:22
BrunoJai: so s=( 2 pie r)/4 === side of square is (pie r)2
BrunoJai: now once u equate their area ratios bro
BrunoJai: we get 14 : 11

The answer is Option (B)

Given that perimeter of a circle = Perimeter of a square.

 = > 2\pi r = 4s

 = > \frac{2\pi  r}{4}  = s

 = > \frac{\pi r}{2} = s

Now,

Ratio of their areas :

 = > \frac{\pi r^2}{s^2}

 = > \frac{\pi r^2}{(\frac{\pi r}{2})^2}

 = > \frac{\pi r^2}{\frac{\pi^2r^2}{4}}

 = > \frac{\pi r^2 * 4}{\pi^2 r^2}

 = > \frac{4}{\pi}

 = > \frac{4}{\frac{22}{7}}

 = > \frac{28}{22}

 = > \frac{14}{11}

Hope this helps!
