It is defination of formula bar

when you open Access or excel in your computer

there are some options like Home,Insert,View,Help etc

Its is called ribbon

In ribbon there is option called Formula

where u can put formula u want

For eg : you want to solve 2 +2 to get ur answer 4

then u can use this formula box

there is format to write a formula to solve every calculation..
