a + b = 10 ------(1)

a^2 + b^2 = 58 ------(2)

On squaring both sides of equation (1), we get

a^2 + b^2 + 2ab = 100

=> 58 + 2ab = 100

=> 2ab = 42

=> ab = 21 --------(3)

Now,

a^3 + b^3 = (a+b) (a^2 + b^2 - ab)

= (10)(58 - 21)

= 10 × 37

= 370
