Find n. (Total number of data)
n= Sum of all frequencies= 4+5+7+9+7=32
Now, n = 32, which is even
So, use formula to find Median for even...
Median= [(n/2)th+(n/2+1)th]/2
= [(32/2)th + (32/2 +1)th]/2
= (16th + 17th)/2
= (7 + 7)/2
= 14/2
= 7
Median = 7
Check the pic... I've made the cumulative frequency table...
You should know, how to find 16th and 17th term from the cumulative frequency table.
Do you know???
