\large{= \frac{4}{9}  -  \frac{5}{12}}

LCM of 9 and 12 is 3 × 3 × 4 = 12

\large{=  \frac{ \: 28 - 5 \: }{12}}

\large{=  \frac{23}{12}}

\large{= 1 \frac{11}{12}}
