38a + 21b = 9     ------ equation 2

  from equation 1

6b = 5 - 57a

=>b = 5 - 57a / 6

from equation 2

38a +105 - 1197a/6 = 9

228a + 105 - 1197a = 9*6

105 - 969a = 54

-969a = -51

a=51/969

a = 1/19              b=5-57a/6

                         ==>b =1/3

1/x+y = 1/19    1/x-y = 1/3

x+y = 19          x-y = 3

x= 11             y = 8
