The McMahon Line is a border line between Tibetan region of China and North-east regionof India, proposed by British colonial administrator Henry McMahon at the1914 Simla Conventionwhich was signed between the British and the Tibetan representatives.[1It is currently the effective boundary between China and India, although its legal status is being disputed between the Indian and the Chinese government
