Answer:

4)

Let the speed of the train be m and speed of car be n

Case 1

Total distance=600km

Distance by train=320km

Distance by car=600-320=280km

Case 2

Total distance=600km

Distance by train=200km

Distance by car=400km

Now,A/q

Now, recall the formula, S=vt

Distance = Speed x time

For Case 1,

time taken by train=320/m

time taken by car=280/n

total time =(320/m)+(280/n)=26/3....... (i)

For Case 2,

time taken by train=200/m

time taken by car=400/n

total time =(200/m)+(400/n)=55/6....... (ii)

Now from i and ii,

Let 1/m be x and 1/n be y.

Now, equation become 320x + 280 y = 26/3.....(iii)

and 200x +400y = 55/6...(iv)

Now, solve equation (iii) and (iv) on your own or you can search for it on brainly here:

you will get x= 1/80 and y =1/60

Now, from above 1/m=X

=1/m = 1/80

m=80km/hr

and 1/n=1/60

n=60km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of train is 80km/hr and speed of car is 60km/hr...
