Formula of Work done = q (∆V)

(Voltage at infinity -> 0)

Work done to bring q form infinity to A,
10 = 2 (V at point A - V at infinity )
10 = 2 (V at point A - 0 )
V at point A = 10/2 = 5 V.

Similarly, work done to bring q form infinity to B,
20 = 2 (V at point B - V at infinity )
V at point B = 10 V.

Now,
V at point B - V at point A = 10 - 5 = 5 V

Work done to move q form A to B is
W = q (∆V)
W = 2 ( 10 - 5 )
W = 2 (5)
W = 10 J.
