Anyone plz tell me the functions of pivot , hinge , ball and socket , gliding joints.

The Pivot Joint - Move your skull to up and down and sideways. These types of joint are found between the skull and the first two vertebrae of the spine
The Hinge Joint - The bones, connected to this joint, move in one plane only. These joint are found in elbow, knee, toe and finger joints.
The Ball and Socket Joint - In this joint, one bone which has a ball-like end, fits into the hollow socket of another bone. These are found in hip and shoulder joints.
Gliding Joint - These joints help us to bend move forward or backward or sideways. These joint makes your backbone flexible. These joints present in the wrist, ankle and between any two vertebrae of the spine.
