1)O2 + 2H2 > 2H2O

from stoi. coeff. we see that for 1L/mole, etc of O2 gives 2L H2.So for 4L hydrogen we need 2L oxygen. Now it is given that 10 L O2 remains unreactd so total vol. of O2 taken shud be 10+2=12L oxygen out of which 10L wsnt used up in reaction.

2)ie v same hai. jst compare the coeff. by writing the combustion reac.

CH4 + O2 > CO2 + 2H2O
