it's quite easy and logical just make small note revise it and practice maths regularly no extra book is required

I think you have not written complete information...but though let me tell you that ncert 8 th books are just awesome . You can prepare for your exams but if you want to join competitive exams then you must use another high level books like Cordova or anything else....
