Area of parallelogram = base × height

472/18 cm² = 25/3 cm × height

472/18 × 3/25 = height

472/150 cm = height.

Now, side of square = height of parallelogram

= 472/150 cm

Area of square = side²

= ( 472/150 )² = 9.9225

Hope it helps

We know that, area of a parallelogram

= base × height

= {(25/3) × height}, where base = 25/3 cm

Given that,

(25/3) × height = 472/18

or, height = (472/18) × (3/25)

or, height = 236/75

So, height of the parallelogram = 236/75 cm

Given that, each side of the square = height of the parallelogram

Then, each side of the square = 236/75 cm

Therefore, the area of the given square

= (side of the square)²

= (236/75)² cm²

= 55696/5625 cm²

= 9.9 cm² ( approximately )
