In ABC , PQ∥ BC So, by proportionality theorem APPB = AQQC = PQBC 46 = AQQC = 3BC 46 = 3BC BC = 4.5 cm

AB/AC = PQ/QR
4/6=6/x
4x= 36
x=36/4 = 9
